The Production using 3D Printing of Fixture for Shaping Plastic Pipes
Tretera, Robin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis compares two options in production of shaping form for plastic pipe - handmade production versus 3D print technology (specifically DMLS method). The thesis contains detail description of the final part and shaping form with pros and cons of both production methods. Handmade production is more suitable for serial production with its lower price. In time pressure 3D printing comes up with its fast and repeatable results.
Cavitation onset by liquid acceleration
Mračko, Patrik ; Burda, Radim (referee) ; Rudolf, Pavel (advisor)
The main goal of bachelor’s thesis is description of complex phenomenon of cavitation caused by acceleration and design of experiment focusing on its observation. Thesis consist of two parts. Theoretic research focusing on basic information about cavitation, its formation and significance. Second part is design of experimental observation with help of high-speed camera, evaluation of possible complications which may occur and their solution. Conclusion proposes possible application for research in area of wastewater treatment.
Cavitation testing using cavitating jet
Rovder, Juraj ; Dobšáková, Lenka (referee) ; Rudolf, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of cavitation and its effects. In this context, it describes the mechanism of origin and implosion of cavities and cavitation regimes. It lists various types of hydrodynamic cavitation. It presents the Rayleight-Plesset equation and describes micro jet. It also highlights cavitation erosion and the effects of cavitation on some types of materials. It deals with three types of cavitation resistance testing, namely cavitation tunnels, a vibrating cavitation system, supported by the ASTM G32 standard, and last but not least, cavitation nozzles, which follow the ASTM G134-17 standard. In correlation with cavitation nozzles, it frames its four basic parameters, which are stand of distance, the cavitation number, the speed of sound and the geometry of the nozzle. At the end of the theoretical part it characterizes the construction of test bench. The practical part is focused on performing the experiment. It first presents the procedure for carrying out the experiment and then evaluates this experiment. Part of the evaluation is the visual observation of selected samples of AlCu4Mg1Mn1 material and the monitoring of cavitation erosion on specific samples. First, these data are processed in the form of graphs and tables. It uses a microscope as a tool for detailed observation of samples. The conclusion of the practical part is devoted to the evaluation of the experiment.
Analysis of natural frequencies and mode shapes of car cabin
Vokoun, Petr ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
In analysis of natural frequencies and mode shapes of car cabin we shall investigate principle of measured values, we shall describe diferencies between analytic and FEM solution of simplified inside space. In next case we shall compute frequencies and mode shapes of sound inside car cabin of four different body and option of interference by one of them.
Comparison of options in production of injection molds
Marko, Tibor ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch engineering technology (2303R002) by comparing different methods of injection molding tool manufacturing. Set manufacturing method for each one of three selected plastic parts, particularly focused on cavity and core manufacturing. Various technological methods of manufacturing, material removal and forming plastic parts will be used for each cavity and core. Production research and economical evaluation will be developed based on given production processes and technology, which will determined which technology to use to pay off in economic terms, depending on the complexity of the plastic part.
Tractor Internal Acoustics
Hora, Otakar ; Zubík, Martin (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the internal acoustics of a tractor using the finite element method. The thesis also contains the analysis of excitation effects from individual sources of vibrations and evaluating the response in the internal acoustic chamber with special focus on the driver’s head. The conclusion should suggest appropriate structural modifications to reduce interior noise.
Optimization of Cavity Fabrication in Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics
Dóczy, Robert ; Somer, Jakub (referee) ; Štekovič, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the fabrication of closed cavities in Low Temperature Co-Fired Ceramics (LTCC). In recent years, the LTCC ceramics have become widely used in the areas of sensors, MEMS and micro-fluidic applications. When fabricating such devices, it is important that the cavities maintain their compactness and dimensions after the manufacturing process . This is achieved primarily with the right choice of lamination process and its parameters and also by appropriate setting of the firing profile. The theoretical part describes the various steps in the production of LTCC structures and the most common technological processes used for creating structures with cavities and micro - channels . In the practical part are selected laminating procedures performed on the test pattern, which contains cavities of different sizes. Emphasis was placed on the correct execution of each method , while gradually modifying the lamination parameters. The achieved results are further discussed in terms of process parameters and their influence on the dimensions of manufactured cavities.
COAT
Svobodová, Hana ; Pangrácová, Lucie (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Although the main topic of my diploma thesis is Kabát, I describe in the introductory chapters of my previous work, because their creation and gradual emergence have been directed towards the final project - Kabát. As part of my sculpture, I concentrate mainly on the possibilities of transforming the human figure, using various classical and non-traditional sculptural materials. The fabric of a selected piece of clothing (in the case of a coat) is reinforced at a certain point in time, which I transposed into the feathered cavity - the coat that you put before you. His work with the "outer envelope of man" in the final passage of the text corresponds to the work of Czech and foreign artists.
